Hi all,
Currently I'm working outpatient Arthritis/Rheum, and I work 5, (8hr) shifts with tuesday as an education day (working on adv rheumatology course and EM boot camp). I asked about going to a 4 (10hr) shifts with either monday or friday off, the answer was no, because everyone in the clinic has tuesday as an education day, however, I do have the option of taking tuesday's off and working the other 4 days as 10 hr shifts.
What do you all think? a broken up 3 days off, or keep the current tuesday as an education day? The only real benefit for me is to have the ability to pick up some OT in the Urgent Care downstairs on tuesdays or to run errands on tues. But truth be known, I honestly have the leeway to run errands on tues now if I want to, so......
