Aloha! I am moving from New York to Oahu in the fall. I am an LPN, and currently enrolled in community college here in New York in the nursing program with 4.0 GPA. I applied at HPU and was accepted and was lucky to receive a small scholarship (definitely not enough to cover even a third of the cost), but I hear that after a year of residency the tuition at Hawaii university drops dramatically. I am wondering what pros and cons each university has, and if HU at Manoa still does a LPN to BSN? I'm just trying to compare the 2 to figure out which would be the quickest path, the price, and the quality of the education. Mahalo!

I'm from Hawaii and will be starting at UH in January. To be honest I have only heard horror stories of HPU. They have terrible board passing rates and no one wants to hire those students once they graduate. I highly suggest you apply to uh
