Hello! Does anyone know how competitive the Air Force HPSP program is for DNP applicants? I can't find any data online about how many apply vs. how many are selected.
Thanks!

DNP in what? The competitiveness varies based on the program. NP? CRNA? Honestly, the competitiveness is going to vary greatly from year to year. A recruiter would have the best idea. Have you asked a healthcare recruiter? It's the AF website, click 'find a recruiter,' and choose the 'healthcare student/professional' link.
NP, adult-gerontology primary care. I have been speaking with a recruiter but they don't have a lot of information about the competition. Thanks for your help!

I am interested in this as well--but I already have an APRN, but looking to just add DNP. Thoughts?
Spoiled, how long is the program and what is the specialty?
Hi. The program is a post-master's DNP, 2 years to complete. Also considered doing a post-master's FNP/DNP combo.
