How would this work...?

I graduate in June of this year and am looking at two different new grad programs. I was advised to apply to one ASAP, as the positions fill up quickly, and I was told that I won't need to apply to the second one until April or May. I'm not sure how this would work because the interviews would obviously be months apart and I would have to either accept or decline the first job without having even applied at the other one. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions??? Thanks!

Well, if you like the first one, you can accept and then tell them you don't want it if you like the second one better when you do interview. Chances are, they'll have alternates they can offer your position to. If you need to have it all squared away early, that's what you should do. If you don't feel the need to plan that far ahead, you could wait.

Some of my classmates didn't have jobs yet when we graduated...I got mine before all the hospitals even started wining and dining us (I still let them buy me some free meals though!)
