How well is your living status?

Hi, I hope this is not inapproriate but I was just wondering this. I will graduate in two years as an RN. I was just wondering how your living status is? Do you live comfortably? Is the salary enough to live on as a single mom to still have a decent size home? Will I be able to pay bills and still buy myself things to spoil myself?

3 fulltime, 40 hours a week not that wimpy 32 or 36 hours that counts as full time now

In that case, if you're regular staff (not agency or anything), I'd say that you making $100k/yr, you'd be the exception rather than the norm. So it's not so much that almost every nurse in the country is doing something wrong, it's that you're doing something VERY right- what's your secret??? Do tell!

My answer is No, No, and No. For me anyway. As a single person in my state, you would have to be making $44,000 a year to get by/live above poverty level. I am a single parent of 2 and making 36-40 per year depending on how much over time I can get.
