How to update NPI status from student to ARNP?

Hello,

I would like to get help update my NPI status.

On 04/2017 I applied and received an NPI number using "student" for my ARNP student hospital internship.

After passing the board exam for FNP last week and get offered an NP job with a specialty, I need to update my profile with NPI so it correctly reflects my title (NP) and job specialty.

I read through National Provider Identifier -- Regulatory Compliance and understand NPI number does not change. I heard from a professor it was going to be complicated if trying to change/update from student to ARNP.

How do I do this? I have tried to navigate through NPI website and still unable to figure out how or what to do.
