How to turn a negative into a positive in an interview

Dear Nurse Beth,

Going for an interview for a grad program, but received a constructive referee report, that the student needs to be more accepting to feedback. I was wondering, how would you turn this around if they ask you "what is your weakness"?

Dear Needs to Accept Feedback,

Your interview is a great opportunity for you to change this perception. During the interview, your posture should be one of openness. Make eye contact, nod your head, and avoid crossing your arms. Project confidence but also humility and warmth.

When answering "What is your greatest weakness?" you could say "I'm working on learning to ask others for help. One way I'm doing this is to thank someone when they take the time to give me constructive feedback on my work. I know I have a lot to learn and I really want to do better in the future. Feedback is essential to my growth and important for my self-development."
