HOW TO REAPPLY FOR TEXAS NCLEX-RN (I failed the exam on my first attemp)

Hello Fellow Nurses!

I have emailed Texas BON requesting for the documents as well as the fees needed however, they don't answer my questions directly and it's wasting my time that I have to email them again then they'll give unclear answers (this happened 3 times already). Any recommendations and advice with this? Or do someone experienced mine? I really need to know the documents and fees that I have to send to BON Texas again so that I can apply for another ATT. I really need to retake my NCLEX this December 2018.

Hope I can find suggestions and solutions in here.

Thank you and Godbless.

you need to submit a new application and fee to the BON (don't have to repeat the proof of graduation, finger prints, or texas law exam) and pay the testing fee to person vue.

This is outlined at the bottom of the application.

Best of luck.

I'm in MD but I'm sure it may be similar. First, go thro Pearson Vue website and after payment and all it will indicate a new ATT is needed. For us in MD, MBON sends us the paperwork required (and your failure result!) through mail. Then, mail them back a check and the paperwork completed.

After Pearson and BON have been paid, then you will receive an ATT. For MD, you would have to submit another passport sized photo but not commit another background checks or anything like that. Hope that helps.
