Hi everyone.. We just learned today how to take blood pressure, however, I'm not sure how to do it properly. I know it takes practice but can anyone explain how to take blood pressure? Thank you so much!!
If price is truly that much of a concern, just look for a stethoscope that's under $40, but above $25. I doubt there's a Littmann that's in that price range, but you should be able to find a stethoscope that'll do the job that's not one of the very low quality disposable units that are in the sub $15 range. I've been caring for people for quite a while, so way back when, I bought myself a very good stethoscope. I still use it over a dozen years later. But I wouldn't recommend doing that until you're really able to discern differences in stethoscope quality. Once you get to that point, you'll appreciate what you can hear with a very good stethoscope.
