How soon should i start applying for jobs

Hi Everyone, my last semester is this fall:yeah:, i am sooo excited and nervous at the same time, how soon do you think i should start applying for jobs. thanks

I graduated in May but started applying for jobs in March. If you live in a state that allows you to work as a GN, then you can start applying earlier. If you have to wait until you pass NCLEX then it might not be worth applying that early.

I don't graduate until Sept. but I started applying in mid April cuz I knew the June grads would be flooding the market and I knew I wanted a specific hospital and a specific unit. I got the position I wanted offered to me on May 1. There was only one other new grad position available after my offer, so I think its wise to apply early...
