How soon is too soon to start applying for a new job (not because I don't like it)

Hello fellow nurses, I need your advice! So I am currently working at a hospital in St. Louis where I grew up on a cardiothoracic step-down unit. I like the people I work with and I surprisingly like the actual job/type of patients we get (if you would have told me I would be working on a step down unit a year ago I would have cried). I graduated in December of 2011 with my BSN and I started work on January 3rd, so I've been here roughly four months. I am currently living with my parents who have recently decided to move back to the Chicago area in the next few months, where the rest of my family is. My question is, is it too soon for me to start looking for a new job in Chicago? I know I've only been working for four months so I'm not technically a "new grad", however I don't have my "one year of experience." I'm kind of in an awkward position right now, but I don't really want to have to stay in St. Louis without my family and have to get my own place to live. Luckily, I enjoy my job so if I couldn't find a job in Chicago right away it wouldn't be the end of the world. If you have any advice, i.e. finish out a full year here in St. Louis and find my own place or go ahead and apply for jobs in Chicago, please let me know. I don't want to seem like a "job hopper" however, like I said, it isn't because I don't like my current job; simply for location reasons.I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!
