How to register for the Hesi?

Published

So I plan on attending an institution next spring and the school requires for me to take the Hesi. But it's all the way in Massachusetts while I live in Chicago. So how am I suppose to take the test if I will not be going to MA until next spring (past the deadline)? Do I register online somewhere and take it in Illinois?

Someone please help me because I feel so incompetent.

Find a college that offers HESI testing. Quite a few use HESI. See if your score can be transferred to the school you wish to attend.

You can contact Elsevier directly to have results forwarded to another college -- some points to consider:

1 - contact the school that you are wishing to attend and make sure they will accept the results when taken at a different location

2 - ask them about the sections of the exam that they require and make sure that where you take it offers those sections

3 - you may have to call around to different college as many only allow those that are testing for their program to test at their location

Best of luck.

Okay so I have to make an Elsevier account before I take any Hesi exam?

Yes, you would establish an account and then use it for all your HESI testing.... I also use it for all Evolve textbooks so that I have access to online practice questions....

Ooh okay. Will I have to link my hesi to the account as well? Or does it do that on it's on?

Whenever you take a HESI exam you do so on hesiinet.com website, but you log in using your evolve ID and password.. Once you take the first exam a folder will be created on your evolve account that gives you access to any and all the hesi exam results that you take..

When you log into the hesiinet website to begin your exam, it will ask you for a code and possible a password (provided by the exam proctor).. the school will automatically have access to every score that is taken under that code..
