Just wondering how everyone is preparing for the Dade Generic Nursing Program for Fall 2010. Is there anything we need to be aware of, and prepare for ahead of time?

right now i am preparing financially. i am selling all my pre-req books on craigslist/amazon.com. i am looking at all the deals i can find online for stethoscopes, school supplies, other clinical gear, etc. i already bought shoes because they were $10 off, and 10% off because they were the last pair. :-) got them at sears!
i purchased these books which have been invaluable:
amazon.com: math for meds: dosage and solutions (9781401831226): anna m. curren: books
amazon.com: fluids and electrolytes made incredibly easy! (incredibly easy! series) (9781582551364): springhouse: books
amazon.com: nursing fundamentals: review rationales (9780130304551): mary ann hogan, judy white, donna bowles: books
amazon.com: pathophysiology: reviews and rationales (prentice hall nursing
amazon.com: saunders comprehensive review for the nclex-rn ® examination full color reprint (9781416031994): linda anne silvestri msn rn: books
may be helpful, but haven't used them:
amazon.com: pathophysiology made incredibly easy! (incredibly
amazon.com: fundamentals success: a course review applying critical thinking to test taking, second edition (daviss success) (9780803619210): patricia m. nugent, barbara a. vitale: books
Those are great ideas. To prepare financially, and try to get some books at a great price.
I have read and like the book:
Fundamentals of Nursing made Incredibly easy
Nursing Fundamentals Reviews and Rationales
Do you know which nursing notes books are good for the first semester?
I think that the book list will show us which books are recommended for our success. If you want to be frugal(which I am) I like to learn things on youtube, especially hard concepts. Since in our first semester we are having Health Assessment, I looked on youtube and found nursing channels with very awesome how-to videos from head-to-toe assessments to IM injections to putting in a foley. I think on youtube the username is "hawknurse". It should be helpful.
I'm reading certain pathologies and reviewing math with the books I mentioned. We need to do so well in those exams if not we are dead, lol. Once I am actually IN the program, I'll get this: Amazon.com: Dosage Calculation Practices for Nurses (9781435480292): Bonita E. to practice with every single day. For first semester I also heard this book is good: Amazon.com: Test Success: Test-Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students (9780803618947): Patricia M. Nugent, Barbara A. Vitale: Books
Your the second person I met that is reading on pathologies. What books or kind of books do I get for that? I have heard that nursing fundamentals, and pharm were tough, but pathologies sounds key. What books or resources can I get to learn about that?
