any thoughts on how to get ready for ACLS, when I've never had it before? I just finished PALS, and it wasn't that hard, but I've heard that ACLS is harder....

Please do not be intimidated by ACLS. It is not a difficult class- unless you just decide not to read the book, then it can be quite challenging. If it is your first time to take it, just get the book, read it, and pay careful attention to the lethal rhythms.
Essentially "everyone" passes ACLS.

LOL---ain't that the truth!
ACLS is now pretty much a guaranteed kill. Even if you fail the final exam, they hand it back to you for review, and let you see what you messed up. Then they give you your card.
Anyone here remember the days when you were handed twenty different rhythms, had to identify them, then had to state how you would treat them?
They've cut out that part, along with the intubation requirement.
Piece o' cake, IMHO.
