I applied for Xavier School of Nursing in Stockton, CA and I cannot figure out how I'm going to pay for the school. I am currently employed but the courses are 40 hours a week, and my schedule also conflicts with it.
I see the maximum federal loan is $9500, and I'm not sure how much I will get in Financial Aid.
Okay, so let's say I got approved for the some of the federal loan. Does that go into an account and I can just pay the payments while attending? Then after I graduate, the leftover can be paid while I go to work? Is that how it works? Sorry I'm trying to figure this out as I will be the first one in the fam attending a vocational school.
How it worked for me. The school gets your financial aid money and applies it toward your balance. They will usually get 1/2 the money for each semester.
so if you are expecting 9500 / by 2 semesters thats 4750 a semester of financial year. You will not get any actual money.
