How does one learn injections?

I have been offered a position at a pain clinic doing injections. I took a course that was very good. Unfortunately it was only 8 hours and using mannequins. My specialty is anesthesia and I have worked at a pain center, but I did the sedation for the procedures. I would love to take this new job because it is 10 minutes from my house. How can I learn the injections?

When I had to learn to give my son daily injections, they had me practicing on fruit. I guess any practice is better than nothing. I bet if I contacted the nursing school where I graduated and asked to come back to the skills lab to practice with their equipment, they would let me. Maybe yours would too.
