Do they get a commision, and do they get a bonus if they get a nurse to work for less? My experience with nurse recruiters makes me wonder this?

I was a nurse recruiter. I was simply paid a salary. No bonuses, no incentives, no "rewards" of any kind, no OT pay. Just a regular old salary. I make more as a nurse than I did as a recruiter.

I have a great friend that is a nurse recruiter. She is paid a yearly salary and that's it. The starting pay for a newly hired nurse is based on a formula that considers experience and education, so she really doesn't have any control regarding what salary she offers to the recruitees.
