Hi,
I am a pre-nursing student in michigan who wants to pursue ADN and become RN.
I know it is a long way to go to reach there.
But i do look into all career postings for nursing jobs needs
1yr experience
critical care expereince,acute care experience
and so on for different job description.
There is no new grad positions.
Can anyone share information about how does a new grad start their career when no experience is there?
How do they post their resumes to recruiters?
Thanks for your time.

The hospital system in the area where I live usually advertises for new grad positions between April - June and then again from Nov-Jan. They do their hiring in June/January and the new grads begin in August and February. Not sure how LTC facilities work. Check the facilities where you might want to work and see what programs they have. If not listed on their websites, try calling.
The first year working is usually under a preceptor.
