Hello everyone, I would really appreciate if you all could tell me how long you studied for the NCLEX and when you actually registered to take the test. I know this is all subjective, but I am just interested in knowing because I have just received my ATT number and I am trying to figure out if possibly by one month, I would be comfortable enough to take the NCLEX. It appears that my classmates have already registered but my concern is that I will not be ready by the date I chose. Thanks for all replies.

how much time, you ask?

no, but really, i think the average amount of time people spend prepping for the test is about 5-7 weeks, give or take a few. if you just graduated, you probably won't have to study for a super long time since you still have all that gooey goodness of information still stuck in your head. if i were you, i'd study smart and not hard for about 4 weeks and take the test.

as for myself, i graduated on may 7th, got my att on may 13th, and took that glorious test on july 8th. so i guess you could say that i studied for a good six weeks and i always took at least one day off per week to rest and rejuvenate my already mushy brain!

think about your current study habits and how that can assist you in thinking up a game plan for studying. if not taking a review course, pick only 2-3 review books and organize your study content from there. if you dedicate your time and energy to studying for the next four weeks then you'd be ready as freddy when it's time for your test date!

good luck!
