Hello everyone. I just got accepted to nursing school for fall 2010 and I have noticed that people keep saying you have to read a lot in nursing school. So I was wondering, how much is a lot? I'm one of those people that likes to read a lot for the fun of it so I certainly don't mind it. The reason I ask is because I'm trying to decide which school to go to. One would be cheaper, but the other one I would move in with my boyfriend's dad who is laid back whereas my family is like a tornado. I'm currently sharing a room with my teenage sister since I lost my job last year and had to move home. I am never able to study in this house. So can anyone give me a clue on the amount of required reading?

Haha! JSlice, you scare me. I love to read. Good thing I'm one of those people who can eat while talking about anything, even GI problems! I have to turn it down some when my sister is eating with me though, lol. After these comments I think I will spend as much time pleasure reading as I can this summer.
And I hate 8pt font! You have to read more but it's squished into fewer pages so you feel like you are accomplishing less. I'm not looking forward to that at all.
