I'm just curious what Rutgers looks for in terms of years of work experience. I couldn't find anything online. Do they look for their candidates to have 1 or 2 years experience before applying for their DNP program? I should be getting my BSN shortly. Thank you in advance for your help!

It looks like it depends on the specific track you are applying to. Here is a link to where some of the information can be found. At the bottom is "Special Requirements". For example, the Anesthesia track requires "A minimum of one complete year of full time, recent experience as a Registered Professional Nurse in a critical care setting with..." but the Adult Acute Care requires "Evidence of two years of acute care experience with direct patient care".
Hope that helps!
That actually was very helpful. Thank you!
