How many times did you apply before getting accepted into the LVN to RN Bridge program?

Hi there, I had just applied into an “LVN to RN” bridge program at a local CC. I’m from California which is extremely competitive but I’m remaining hopeful ?. I’ve been working as an LVN for 13 years and I’m so thankful just make it this far in my journey of becoming an RN. I have a 3.65 cumulative GPA from my sciences and about a 3.4 for my general ED courses. I also took the TEAS and passed. How long did you have have to wait before getting accepted?

Go online and see how many of the requirements that you have done of the courses they require and total up your points. There are 36 points available. Example. They require A&P 1 & 2. Eng 111 & 112, HUM 115, PSY 150 & PSY 241, & then the length of your License will be 3 points and if you have your CNA license or something else like that its worth 1 point a previous degree bachelor is 2 points and associate is 1 point and the TEAS scores have ratings as well for overall score and your science score. So total it all up and see what you get out of 36. This was the 2nd time I applied. Before, I didn’t have a lot of the courses completed so my points weren’t high  enough.

Thank you for your response, ctaylor98. I hope that we both get accepted into each of our nursing programs of choice.   The journey is rough, but then again, nothing in my life was ever easy?
