How many notebooks do you have for school?

Published

I'm in my second semester and up to six notebooks. I can't believe how many it is taking to keep everything organized--I'm used to one per semester for several classes.

How many do you have and how far are you into the program?

I have a bookshelf in the dining room completely dedicated to all my nursing books and notebooks. I tend to have one notebook per class, plus a folder and a binder.

I an in my last semester of nursing.. I finish May 3rd!! I bring a 1 inch binder to school and I use a divider with a tab on the end per lecture topic and then after i have a test i put all the notes into a 4 inch binder and leave that home and then i use that binder to study for the final so its all in 1 place. I think i am very organized and the dividers really help because they are labeled with the different lecture topics so when i need something i just flip to it. I dont like note books bc our lectures are on power point so i have the power point slides and then i have my hand written notes, so with a binder they can all go in 1 spot and it makes it so much easier!

I'll clarify on the reasons behind my notebooks. I have 3 smallish ones--one each for clinical, skills lab and my pharmacology sheets. One notebook is a giant one that has all my powerpoints from last semester, one is a giant one that will hold powerpoints from this semester (they go in after the exam) and one that I carry to school. We only have one class per semester.

I take all my notes on my powerpoints so I don't have extra paper.
