can you please draw out a plan of the courses i'd take each semester; this will be very useful to me, thanks?!

Some of this is confusing b/c it is typed so close together, could you put spaces between the stuff at the bottom so we can tell how many courses there are? You basically know that you can't take similar courses together because, for example, the English classes are consecutive; one is a core req for the next, same with at least 2 of the nursing classes. Do you have a college catalog? That will help you figure out when the NSG classes are offered during the year. The CNA class can be taken at any Red Cross during the Summer any place that teaches it during the Summer would be good. I took mine in 2003 and it was 5 weeks and cost 800 dollars. I am getting an A.A.S degree at my CC and since I went part time with my prereq's and am out for this year between my 1st & 2nd ( Jr & Sr) years of NSG classes it will take me 6 years total. If this is your first College experience I would sign up to take a Math and English class, and maybe a Science the first semester and then see the guidance counselor they assign to you to set up the rest of your plan. Plan for it to take some time though, anything worth doing takes time! Good Luck!

This is what my college recommended for pre-reqs. It took about 2 years.

WOW! That's a lot of classes. I took just as many courses and nearly the same ones u have posted and it took me nearly 3 years to complete all of them.

It really just depends on your status (full-time, part-time, etc). A great deal of it also depends on your acceptance date into the registered nursing program. Have u already been accepted? I highly doubt it, because u haven't even taken your bio classes, but not all colleges are the same.

Also, if u want to get out of school faster. Don't be a dumb a$$ like me and drop courses here and there. I also failed a couple times (still have a high GPA though) and had to retake courses.

It's good that u are concerned about time, but don't be too pressed over it, because it will make u anxious and u will get discouraged easily from finishing school. Just go with the flow and be the best student u can be. Make the grades and soak in the information, because by the time u are in ur nrs classes, u will need to start thinking back to basic biology and etc.

Good luck! U'll do good. Just keep a positive head on ur shoulders and don't let anyone bring u down.

if u have to miss a class. Always call your professor. AlWAYS...U will come to see that most instructors are very forgiving and will work with u.:wink2:
