How long does it take NY to endorse?

Hey guys!

I got a job in NY after getting my license in NJ. I sent all my application stuff in yesterday and I am expected by my job to have my license by mid-September. I called the Board of Nursing and they said it sometimes takes 3 weeks to even get the mail to the right PO Box, and 4 weeks from that point!

How long has it taken you guys to get your license from endorsement through NY? Please tell me its not a month because my job will not be holding the offer if I don't have my license!

Is there anything I can do to make the process go quicker?

Which route did you send in your application materials? I think if you have sent as priority, or next-day, it should arrive/should have arrived.

I sent it as priority mail straight to the nurse processing unit as told by someone on the phone. I think now its just a matter of when they can get to my application but I have no idea how long that will take!

I was licensed in another state and it took me about 2 months to receive my NY license by endorsement.

I am a PH grad, currently licensed and practicing in FL as RN, endorsing to NY. CVS submitted to NY last 07/26. Just wondering for how long will it take for NY to endorse? thank you in advance.

Hi, I know this thread is old but I just recently endorsed to ny. Can you tell me how long it took to get your license for ny?
