So I took NCLEX yesterday & realized something was up when I didn't see my license number on the GA BON website this morning like the others I took it with. I called sec of state and spoke with the licensing dept & they gave me the info about it being sent for board review and that they only do it on the 2nd Thursday of every month. So the next one is 2/9 & that even after that, it could take up to 20 more freaking days for them to actually issue the license smh. I'm hoping it seriously does not even take that long bc that's like around march smh. What info have you gotten if any?

Did you hire an attorney for it? & IDK how it is in your state but in GA they told me the board has up to 20 days after the review to issue your license
I spent the day at the NJ BON and it was useless. They told me the legal review team is so backed up that they don't estimate times anymore. The girl sitting next to me was there and she said she has been waiting 8 months. I consulted some lawyers but they want a $2500-$3500 retainer just to send a letter and said that there is no ability to guarantee that it will work. I am about to loose a job that I have uprooted my family to take and its so disheartening.
Sorry this has happened. It's so stressful! My application was denied even after passing NCLEX. I actually got great help from an expert who specializes in concocting a statement to explain disclosures for criminal convictions on applications. In fact, they helped me reapply with a bold letter with a great explanation of circumstances in a more formalized professional letter. after a couple years, I finally was approved.
