How long should it take to get your ATT?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone,

I did not pass my NCLEX the first time, and after I finally decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and move on I paid PearsonVue the $200 fee as well as sent in the paperwork with a check to get my ATT from my State (NE) Board of Nursing. I have called my BON several times as I am very concerned why it is taking so long to get my ATT. Everytime I call I am told to be patient and that my paperwork should have been sent to pearson by now. However I called PearsonVue the other day and they told me that they have not received any information from my state's BON. Naturally I am very concerned about this, I am already nervous about having to take the most horrible test (at least in my eyes) in the world again, but I am unsure when I will be able to take it. And everyone at my job and all of my friends/family keep asking when I am going to be a nurse. Has anyone been through the same/similar experience in receiving their ATT? If so what did you do? Thank you in advance :)

Sarah

Hi!

I'm sorry to hear about you not passing your NCLEX in just one try but that's okay and its good that you're back on your feet. We may not be in the same area but here in New York it only took me 4 days for my 2nd att and 3 days for my third att. Yes i already failed the exam 3 times already and I'm still studying right now I'm not giving up on the RN dream. :)

How long has it been? Mine took about a week. Good luck to you.
