How long does it take to get your ADN from City College of San Francisco?

Published

Anybody here graduate from CCSF and earn their ADN? I have a couple of questions for you.

1. How long did it take you to complete your pre-reqs? How many semesters?

2. CCSF goes by the lottery process right? So they don't pick people based on how well they did in their pre-req courses?

3. How many times did you apply before finally getting picked for CCSF's nursing program?

4. How many times can you apply? Is it once per school year? Or once per semester?

5. How many years total did it take you to graduate and earn your ADN, including pre-reqs courses, applying to the program, + the program itself?

These questions are for anybody who went to College of San Mateo and/or College of Marin.

1. What if I were to complete my pre-reqs at CCSF, can I apply to CSM's and COM's nursing program?

2. Does CSM and COM pick their students by lottery or by how well they did in their pre-reqs?

And also, is it harder to find a job as an RN in the Bay Area, or anywhere in general, with just an associates degree than with a bachelors?
