How long does spouse petition takes?

My fiance is a Registered Nurse, a local board passer and preparing to take NCLEX this month, CGFNS-CES and complete all of the requiements for a foreign nurse to work in Nevada. I am just wondering how long will it take him to process all these? How long will it take him to petition me as spouse once he starts working? I just like to know how many months/ years all of these will take. You see, I am a career woman in the Philippines, and I know that i might drop/change my career plans once his nursing career takes off. He tells me he wants me to follow, if his plan to work in the US pushes thorugh. I am due to a major promotion this year, that's why I need a somkinda a time frame. Thank you, Thank you very much.

In the past, I have seen other nurses from your country follow a similar path with their families, and it has taken years to get them here. This may have changed in recent years,but I am betting that since 911,things have gotton harder not easier. Good Luck!
