Hi you all! I am applying for my CNA endorsement in Arizona. I am hoping it's not a super long process, because I am applying for the nursing program in Arizona and a CNA certificate is one of the requirements! Wish me luck you guys!
I am wondering how long it took you all for you to endorse your CNA certification to another state. :)

I was just about to post something about this very topic!!! I am so frustrated with the reciprocity process!! I am going through it for both of my certifications (EMT and CNA).
The state in which I'm applying for endorsement has insanely high standards for CNA certification, whereas the state in which I'm currently certified is super relaxed. Not only is this making the process of receiving endorsement a nightmare, but I will actually have a different and far more limited certification than I do now.
Additionally, it doesn't help that I don't live in my new state year round (I'm a student there), so it's unreasonable for me to get my fingerprinting done at their recommended sites, etc.
So to answer your question, it really depends. My EMT cert. was a breeze to transfer and took about 2 weeks.
If the requirements for certification are pretty equal between the state you are currently certified in and the one you're switching to, I bet it's a million times easier.
Hope that's helpful, maybe?
Best of luck.
Oh, so you will be travelling there only when you are in school? Did they contact you already? Unless they told your certification will be limited, I wouldn't worry about that.
It seems some people get it quickly, and others not so much... Haha, good luck to your endorsement process too! It's officially been a week. They still haven't cashed my check. I hope my letter did not get lost in the mail, I'm contemplating sending another letter....
