I am international, I just finished my pre requisiste cources in a community collegue. when I want to apply for the nursing program, they told me that I need to have a SSN, but I don't have one, since it is very difficult to find a job in this collegue. So, what can I do?. In california, do I need to have a ssn just to apply a program?
Any comunity collegue in California that don't need SSN in their application form?

That depends on your visa. Visit the SSA locally.
No, you need SSN to apply and to be licensed to practice in the US.
but how can I apply for a SSN if I don't have a job yet. I should first get in to the program, and then apply for.
I hold F-1 via

Don't know what to tell you. Read the instructions.
To apply a SSN I need to have a job. However, my shool do not have any job positions available now. The another way that I can get SSN is I apply for a OPT, but for this I have to get into the nursing program first.

Looks like you have to wait. There's no other way.
I'm a US citizen, so it's a different story for me ??
