How important is your GPA for getting into an NP program?

Published

I'm a first time poster so if this is in the wrong spot I apologize. I'm a nursing student that will be graduating with my ADN in May. I was looking at affordable accredited RN to BSN programs and found WGU which seems like a perfect program for me however all of the classes are pass fail so of you complete the program, no matter the quality of work you get a 3.0. Before entering my current RN program I had about a 3.2 but unfortunately for me my Nursing classes grade is almost solely based on your test average which for me is right around an 80% which is considered a C and is dropping my GPA like crazy. So I'm wondering If I should choose a different RN to BSN program that would allow me to get a better GPA than a 3.0. Would I be able to get into an NP program with a sub 3.0 GPA? Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
