I was going to part of a new grad residency program..but didn't pass my boards the first time and so that fell though:( But just found out yesterday that I passed this time!! WOOHOO..Thank you Jesus!!
But now I have no idea how to even start looking for jobs...I am open to any state in the US and any floor...I just want a job! Any advice on how I should narrow my search? Is it better to look for nurse residency programs? Are there ones that start in October that are still hiring? Any advice would be helpful!

Just curious, could you return to the first job you had & how long are you required to wait after failing before you can retake boards? Congrats & GOOD LUCK!
Thanks! The first job was a new grad residency program and they hire you if you are a new grad. Usually in such programs you have to take your boards (for the first time) within 90 days of employment (depending on the state). If you take your boards once and don't pass, you are no longer considered a graduate nurse. The program started on July 20 and so they couldn't have me part of it anymore:( I guess God has other plans.
You have to wait 45 days-90 days (depending on the State) to retake your boards.
