I just finished my BSN program but hospital jobs are hard to get around here. I have another degree that pertains to the field on top of my BSN. Would like an entry level job. What do I do?

What do you do? You do a search and you read! There is a search box on this forum and there is also google.com
Did you even bother to look at other posts in this forum? And yes, there are many posts on this forum about many other topics, but there is also a search box.
When you do a search on "how to get into nursing informatics" on this website (allnurses) a bunch of other posts on this very exact same question come up. And yes, your question has been answered many, many times before.
It is unfortunate that there used to be a sticky article on this question, but they were moved to the bottom, and now those sticky posts don't even show up. Too bad!
Also, if you do that same search on google, an article written by one of the moderators of this forum comes up.
Now, if you want a precise, exact answer to your specific case, then it would help if you put out more details as to what "pertaining" degree you have or even what relevant experience in IT you might have, and maybe then you will get a better answer to your specific case because otherwise the most generic answer in its simplest form is, get a nursing job, then get involved in informatics, and then apply for jobs.
I understand that I coming in on a subject that has been worked before but hey, give me a break! What I am saying is, that in my area, it is hard to get hospital jobs, which are a prerequisite for a degree and, in some cases, applying for a job. I have read that sometimes working nurses in hospitals don't even need the degree but while I have worked on database systems in my previous career, I need to see if I can apply even though I have only working in hospitals as temp in many other departments. Thanks for your quick reply but please understand I have been working on the BSN so that I might qualify for a hospital job in the future.
