So I am in school right now getting all my pre-req's for Nursing School. In hopes to being a BA program for my RN next fall. I have an AS in education so ive been working part time in the field, but I would love to work part time doing SOMETHING.. reception/patient services.. or i dunno, in a doctor's office or hospital. But i cannot find a job that will hire me. It seems to me everyone is looking for MA's or LPN's or RN's.
So Is it a matter of me waiting till im in school and go through clinicals? Till I get a job in the field?

Just keep trying, while you're getting your prerequisites. Patience is key. Everyone has difficulties when looking for their first health care job.
Could you get certified as a nursing assistant? Would this be too much to study for while you're doing your prerequisites?
I assume if you're working already along with completing your nursing prerequisites, you've got enough to work on as it is.
If you've got any spare time, looking into getting certified as a nursing assistant. It opened up numerous job opportunities for me and my fellow classmates. So much so I had to turn down jobs. Just something to look into.
