How do I get experience then...

I am a new graduate LPN nurse and have already been on two interviews and I still do not have a job. On my resume it clearly says that I am a new graduate nurse hoping to get hired but when I get into the interview they act surpised "Oh...soo ..you're right out of school?" How am I supposed to get any experience if noone will hire me? What am I supposed to do? Please tell me that someone has had this problem before!!!

omg yesssss i understand the OP completely. I had an interview for a psych nurse position and 10 mins into the interview, the recruiter goes "oh, wait! your a new grad?! why haven't you've been working?" ..I had to use some serious facial muscle strength in order to keep smiling and not give her a look.. Apparently, my resume was pulled without being reviewed, but she was courteous in that she called and explained that I was not hired due to my lack of experience.. Keep trying because something will eventually come through. I am now currently hired at a nursing home :)
