How do I find out what my furnishing number is

Hi everyone,

I just submitted all the necessary paperwork to the CA BRN to get my furnishing number (5 days ago). How am I supposed to find out what this number is and when they will process my application? Do they send an e-mail or something? Boy, I wish there were a clear explanation of all the stuff we have to apply to, register for ect. No one tells you anything when you are graduating from school.

If your application gets approved, you will receive a NPF License Card and and a NPF Certificate from the BON. The NPF License number is the same as your NP License Number. You can also check the BON's Permanent License Verification website from time to time to see if your application has been approved. I am not familiar with processing times but my application took a little more than a month to be approved.
