Hi everyone, I just submitted all the necessary paperwork to the CA BRN to get my furnishing number (5 days ago). How am I supposed to find out what this number is and when they will process my application? Do they send an e-mail or something? Boy, I wish there were a clear explanation of all the stuff we have to apply to, register for ect. No one tells you anything when you are graduating from school. Thanks in advance for your input.
I just cannot believe it! There is NOTHING at all for prepating for the GNP national certification exam. All Adult and Family NP manuals cover only about 10% of geriatrics. Has anyone taken the GNP boards? What did you use for preparation? I am pretty frustrated. Any advice and help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!!
I am a new NP grad in California and was wondering whether the 520 supervised prescribing hours towards getting the NPF could be unpaid hours (volunteering). Also, if I do, for example, 320 hours in one place and 200 hours at another palce, will this be acceptible? Thanks for all your advice. It's all pretty confusing...
