How hard is it to bridge from RPN to RN?

Published

What kind of gpa would you need to get accepted in an RN program when trying to bridge from RPN? Can someone who bridged to RN tell me what you had to get? Thanks.

I got early acceptance with a 90 average. The lowest I know was an 84 and that was two weeks before start date

This is something that I plan on doing as well. SOme of my classmates are bridging at Ryerson, and they had a B average. I think that is usually the minimum. That is also relative to the batch of candidates applying, so it you have a lower average, it is still possible

I know for the one year bridging program you just need a B, but your classmates got into the actual RN program with just a B? Well that's good to hear. I was getting worried about trying to get 90's!

They got into the RPN-RN bridging program at Ryerson with a B average. I'm not sure what the entrance requirements are to get into the RN straight from highschool. If you call the school of nursing they will be able to give you that information
