How to go about finding a preceptorship?

I am graduating next semester; would like to start getting my preceptorship sorted.

I can do it at the hospital I completed my clinicals at(and plan to apply to) but really want to get my foot in the door with a preceptor in L&D or Peds.

My school isn't ACEN accredited yet, so I don't know if that has any bearing? How do you go about approaching places for a preceptorship?

Your school should be able to guide you, I would hope.

Typically a senior preceptorship is your last clinical rotation and as such is set up by the school; not something you are responsible for arranging. If you have ideas for a specific placement or interest area talk to your clinical placement coordinator (or whatever the equivalent is) at your program.
