Hi, I have always wanted to do peds but have been doing adults for so long. I really would like to work in pediatrics, in an office setting. I know there are pediatricians offices around here, but how do I get those jobs? Contact the office directly? Also, the one my kids go to have a lot of Medical Assistants. Are there actually any RNs in these offices?

I worked in a pediatric office for several years and they did start hiring some MA's but most of them were LPN's. But they were having a hard time staffing LPN's (low pay, stress, the usual) so I guess it would just depend on the office on whether they hire RN's for that position or not. Call around and check. I know our clinic here is needing some! haha

Specialty clinics at major teaching hospitals tend to hire RNs. However, both of the teaching hospitals in my area require a few years of inpatient peds experience before moving to outpatient.
