Hi everyone. I've finally been admitted to my program (3yrs of wait listing!) for this fall. I've been working hard in both ADN and BSN pre-reqs as I've been waiting and I'm now entering the final stage of the program (clinicals!) and I cannot get past the nervousness! I was a late admit (was supposed to start this portion in May, there were enough drops ahead of me to move things up) so it's been a rush of hurry up and get all the ducks in a row. I'm a 4.0 student and from what I've been told, it really doesn't matter and that has me nervous! I have developed good study skills and time management skills (mom of three!) throughout the last 3yrs (even became a microbiology and A&P tutor) but the horror stories you hear about clinicals/theory has me on edge! How do you get passed that and what can you suggest to help keep everything on par! I haven't gotten this far to do poorly but I'm sincerely anxious about what it will be like!

Stop listening to the rumors. Cross those bridges when you get to them. Because for you, it may be a completely different experience. Just keep an open mind and a positive attitude.
Best of luck to you!
