How to Find Where an NP Went?

Published

Hello,

I just wanted to see if anyone can point me in the right direction. I've been under the care of the world's most amazing NP. Very suddenly, she's disappeared from both clinics she was at with no word or explanation. My appointment was randomly canceled, and the clinic didn't bother to communicate anything with me and just assigned me a new provider with zero communication whatsoever. (Last I checked my relationship is with my provider, not the facility so that was awful bold of them.)

I don't believe it was a matter of her just walking away. I think something must have happened. I'm trying to find where she is at now. I've searched the NPI registry, and that hasn't yet been updated. I've tried really scouring the internet, but she still shows up in searches under clinics she is no longer at. I've checked her state license, and it shows as unencumbered, so she's not been revoked.

I'm at a loss. She's the best provider I've ever had in my entire life, and I will follow her to the end of the world and back because her care has been THAT good. We've also had a great relationship and sometimes end up talking way too during appointments just because we get along so well.

Can anyone help me with how to find her?

It might take a while until the NP's next workplace has an online profile for them.

After 3 months, I found my  podiatrist moved to upstate NY (6hr drive-- too far)  while Philly joint replacement Ortho went to NY city's Hospital For Special Surgery --just 2 1/2 hr car ride --or 4 hrs in traffic so still considering them for future knee replacement as reconstructed my aunts knee + tibia who hadn't walked in over a year post fall--still walking 10 years later.
