Hi,
Can you give me feedback on how to NOT be overwhelmed with the amount of material a VN student has to learn in a full-time 12 month program?
For example, we are flying through anatomy and yet we are suppose to remember these various parts of the body so that if our patient ask us where this part of the body is that we do not look stupid.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Take care,

I think the most help I have found is to find relationships between systems and topics. Think of using your body and pin pointing those locals on your body as you study. Consider why it is beneficial for that organ to be "THERE." It seems kind of lame to some but that is how I plugged through it all. I seem to do the same for my pre-clinical studies and pharmacology. I know many people LOVE flashcards but I am one of a few that just do not. I find them cumbersome and WAY overwhelming.
Thank you so much for your insight and it was NOT at all lame.
I thank my Lord that I can always get immediate and encouraging feedback from people like you who care to give us helpful advice.
God bless ya in your nursing career in making a difference in people's lives. :redbeathe
