I have a trouble in how to distinguish which drug is trade or generic name? Does anyone help me out?

THANK YOU. So basically we have to memorize which one is generic or trade name, and we do not have particular rule to know it.
yes, there is a way to narrow it all down by knowing the prefix and suffix of the classifications. like pril cillin and the rest. However, there are some that doesnt fall into the prefix and suffix. I think the best way to know this course is to take it with med-surg so that you can know the side effect and their usefulness not just memorizing it.

most often when written - the generic name is not capitalized and trade name is. When written together it is common to list the generic first and the (trade in parenthesis)
