If by transcripts you mean the official record from a nursing program that information usually must come directly from the registar's office of the particular college, university or school. Such a document is always required to have a seal/stamp from said registar confirming it is a vaild history of a student's record. Furthermore if the transcript is not in English most if not all requesting bodies will require a certified translation.
School transcripts bearing a registar's seal are legal documents and am almost certain (but could be wrong) that NYS does not forward whatever copies they have on record elsewhere. How can they when the state does not issue the thing, but is required by law to have them on record to verify one has met the educational requirements for licensure.

How can a foreign graduate get NY to send their transcript to another nursing board? My friend needs this information. Answers would be greatly appreciated!
