How can I get an entry level CNA job in Denver

Published

Hello Fellows,

I will appreciate if any one can give me a heads-up with regard to possible job opportunities for CNA's in Denver areas.

I completed my CNA program including the clinicals and the I pass the state board CNA exam. I have been looking for part time jobs at long term care facilities and hospitals, all what they ask from me is at least 3 months or 1 year experience. Is outrageous that they knew I just made a career change and how can I get the experience if all of they them are asking the same kind of stuff.

I am wondering how you (current cna's) or the others are able to set their foot in the nursing pathway? I absulutely do not want to lie on my resume or application form if ask do I have initial experience working at LTC or hospital. i don't want my words to hunt me in the future in case.

If you or any one whom you know is working at a facility or hospital or any care center that are recruiting. Please help with infos. I obviously want to pick-up a part time job so that I can acquire the experience.

I will appreciate to hear from you all and thanks so much!!

Yours

Kanjura!!!

The problem is you are looking for part time employment without experience. Many facilities re-train CNA's to satisfy their own requirements and require full time associates to justify this expense.
