How to brush up on everything!

I've been out of the hospital bed side for five years, I just got hired at a well known hospital in internal medicine and pulmonary I need to brush up on my meds, diseases, labs, skills everything. Is there a good book or website or something I could use. I have two weeks to study before starting. I really don't want to wing it. I have my Kaplan book but it's very basic not real helpful.

Thanks!

The hospital must have confidence in you to hire you, after 5 years away from the bedside. Hopefully, you will have an extensive orientation.

I have been away from the bedside for 7 years, wouldn't have the courage to resume bedside care without that extensive orientation. For me, I cannot see where reading anything would brush me up.

Best wishes Let us know how it's going.

Prior to taking the NCLEX two years ago, I used a review course via NCSBN. It was very thorough and went through all the systems. It might be something you'd want to look into. I don't know if it's changed much since I took the course, but I'm leaving a link to it in case you're interested.

Thanks! I heard back today and got offered the residency here in Birmingham so I'm excited about that.
