Hi everyone, I am wondering what the requirements in MASS for oncology nursing. Is it BSN then specific training? I would love to get started on this path. Thank you!

I don't know that MA has any specific reqs. for oncology. You are talking about some great onc hospitals, and many in Boston will only hire BSNs (I know childrens is one, and I believe mass gen is like that as well).

Are you in school? Try getting a job as a CNA on an onc floor, do your preceptorship in onc and then see what happens. I was a cna in adult oncology and then discovered i didnt like it.

Also, the hospital I worked at was moving towards hiring only OCNs, which makes things harder for inexperianced types.

Good luck!
