I am in Houston and would like to become a CNA before I enter a BSN program. Anyone know of any programs/schools? How much they cost? How long it takes? Thanks! :nurse:

I got my CNA through the Red Cross, but in a different state. If you go to the Texas Dept. of Health web site, I believe they list approved programs, or try this. It is the Dept. of Aging in Texas.

(there are LOTS in houston). i would suggest you look at community college programs first, since they will probably be the most reasonably priced (compared to an academy).

good luck!
